The Midnight Players are an R&B and Old School band based in Sacramento, Ca. Originally formed in 1977, founding members Rudy Betancourt (Saxophones), Manuel Cervin (Bass Guitar), Michael Sellars (Keyboards) and Will Wong (Lead Guitar) remain intact as the group to this day continues to blast the R&B, old school and funk to audiences that love to party to the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000's dance grove. Established as a household name in the Sacramento music scene - the Midnight Players have been attracting audiences to every kind of event and celebration imaginable, from opening for heavy hitting acts like WAR, The S.O.S. Band, Midnight Star, Tierra, Brenton Wood, The Bar Kays, Dazz Band, Club Nouveau, Zapp, Heatwave, Rose Royce, Lakeside, and many others, to entertaining guests at concerts, weddings and birthday parties.
